Mario: Star Struck

I hope you are all in for some reading....
I haven't uploaded anything new for a while now, and since I'm slowly getting my mojo back I decided to master up something simple to get me started...

I'm sure most of you are aware of the Wii U and it's game New Super Mario Bros U.. kick ass game in my whole honest opinion, it's so fun and exciting I constantly freak out when my boyfriend plays his little speed run style, forget Gangman..I actually shreak and jolt as I watch him fly through the levels..

In this particular picture, we have typical Mario on hyper drive! Star power anyone? seems it's useful for most things and just running through a level like mad, collecting 1UP's and such.. and can also be used on the actual map itself as you navigate through it..grab a star and run in to a penguin or whatever else is in your path and watch the sparks fly!! Mwahahaha..

Lots of cool things have me excited about New Super Mario Bros U, even though the game play itself isn't very "new" but for something FINALLY being done in lovely crisp HD I am not complaining..

Multi player is yet to be played here.. even though we did test it before Didz got his copy from Santa so it was fun, I just need the motivation to get me in to gaming again like I used to be.. it's in me some where! *checks*....

ART RANT
Has anyone seen the player manual that comes with New Super Mario Bros U? *u* I miss the instruction manuals these days as they used to be full of colourful pictures and cool stuff back when we were kids.. But anyway, in the booklet I flicked through I saw a pic of Mario all rainbowy and stuff! So I said to Didz "Hmm I wouldn't mind doing that in my own style" ^_^ It just looked so cool and full of colour, I wanted to give it a try..so yeah that is where the main idea came from. C: Thanks Nintendo for the little pics here and there!

I'm not 100% happy with the pose though, Mario looks awkward and I dunno..his legs look odd. It was a quick muck a round doodle at first but when I started colouring it, it started appealing to me more and more.. In the end I didn’t even use a ref or look at the booklet picture I will now though..pre typed comments are so fun >:] now all I need to do is wait for Didz to fix the internet..
